This is a cruise we have been waiting for a long time: because during that cruise we can enjoy an unforgettable tango holiday: twelve days – enough time to dance Tango and to relax!
Our cruise starts in Civitavecchia near Rome: combine that cruise with a romantic weekend in that wonderful city full of history.
During our tango cruise we will visit some of the most fascinating places in the Mediterranean: the beautiful islands of Santorini and Mykonos in Greece and one of the most romantic and beautiful Islands in the Mediterranean, Capri in Italy! Here we can dance Tango with unforgettable views and in and unique atmosphere. In Athens, we can visit the world famous „Acropolis“ and we will see Ephesus near Kusadasi, now considered one of the grandest reconstructed sites in the ancient world. Istanbul will no doubt be the highlight of our cruise. Since our ship will stay overnight in the port, we will use this unique opportunity to visit a Turkish Milonga that evening, an unforgettable experience.
This itinerary is a perfect combination of a romantic holiday in the Eastern Mediterranean, the visit of exciting cities like Rome and Istanbul and the experience of history in the ancient world. Several evenings, we will enjoy dancing Tango on board as well as during the day in various beautiful locations ashore.
Tango at sea: you can book your Tango Cruise with or without taking Tango workshops. If it’s a laid-back vacation you’re looking for combined with great Tango dancing possibilities at your leisure: this is the perfect cruise for you. For those who want to enhance their tango skills, Tango workshops are scheduled by our professional dancers – Adriana Duré and Felipe Martinez. The workshops will be held in small groups in a pleasant atmosphere and tailored to suit individual needs. Those who have experienced our Tango cruises with Adriana and Felipe in South America know their enthusiasm and engagement of their teaching. Tango can also be fun and that is guaranteed with Adriana and Felipe on this one of a kind Tango – holiday – cruise! By the way, private lessons are also available in a relaxed atmosphere on our luxurious cruise ship „Equinox“.
Note: this cruise is suitable for all dance levels because Adriana and Felipe have tailored their courses for beginners as well as seasoned Tango dancers.

Enjoy casual outdoor activities in a decidedly Country Club atmosphere and let the grass between your toes relax your feet after dancing Tango!
Modern comfortable cabins are equipped with air conditioning, television, safe, mini bar, shower and bathrobe. We have inner, outer and balcony cabins remaining. Suites are available upon request.
The Milongas will be held mainly before Dinner to enjoy the sunset and Tango. (depending availability of dance floors). So we will also be fit for the next morning to explore the beautiful ports and exciting cities.

Travel to/from Civitavecchia: (about 60 km from Rome).
You can travel by plane to Roma, airport Fiumicino. If desired, an organised transfer can be booked by the cruise line. (arrival latest 13:30, departure earliest 11:00, prices on request).
Or you travel by train from the airport to Roma Main train station “Termini” and from there, every 60 minutes by train nonstop to Civitavecchia. (train ride about 80 minutes). In Civitavecchia you can take a taxi or shuttle bus to the cruise terminal, about 10 minutes from train station). If you travel by public service, you should plan minimum two hours transfer to/from Roma City to the ship.
It is also possible to make a reservation for a parking place in Civitavecchia, if arrival is by private car.

Information:
A minimum of 30 persons is required for the tango cruise. (confirmed).
As with all registrations, contractual agreements will be in place and will adhere to the Celebrity Cruise Line conditions.
For those guests who do not wish to participate in the tango program/tango lessons there are limited spaces which require a separate offer.
Participation in all tango events is only possible, when booking through Bailando Reisen.
