Welcome to a Tango holiday with Amanda and Adrian Costa in Aiterbach, located on Lake Chiemsee in Bavaria. Its picturesque landscape, situated directly on the lake, provides for a special quiet environment.
Skilled in the art of “savoir-faire” at the highest Tango level, Amanda and Adrian will demonstrate a well-thought-out syllabus suitable for all. Harmony, elegance, rhythm and clarity of the dance exude from the heart. You will be fascinated by their Tango de Salon “par excellence”.
There will be nine hours of instruction from Wednesday through Sunday along with Practicas with Amanda and Adrian. The special theme will be: Milonga - Milonga Traspié. Rhythm is it - get the groove and have fune"Lessons will be conducted both in the morning and the afternoon, allotting enough time to explore this area which has so much to offer. Private lessons will also be available upon previous request. Lessons will be for all levels, minimum one year dance experience.
The course begins on Wednesday afternoon around 3 o’clock and our departure will be after breakfast on Sunday..
The Aiterbach Haus, with its tastefully-decorated rooms, where we will be staying for 5 nights, is considered one of the most beautiful properties at Chiemsee. It was once the summer residence of the well-known Munich family – Zumbusch Riemerschmid, known for their architectural design and artistic talents, This property was recently renovated and restored creating an exciting blend of traditional and modern character. An unforgettable view of the lake and the overwhelming alpine panorama can be seen from its sunny terrace. It shines throughout the house and on to the inviting wood dance floor, where our courses will take place.
From Aiterbach, you can easily discover the beautiful landscapes and villages south of Munich. We also recommend an excursion to the famous romantic “Fraueninsel” (woman’s island) or Herreninsel (man’s island). On this island you will discover the Herrenchiemsee Castle, an unfulfilled replica of the Palace of Versailles, France. What remains of King Ludwig II of Bavaria’s dream project is still a sight to behold, definitely worth seeing. Additionally, Salzburg or Munich is only one hour away from our hotel.

How to get to Aiterbach/Chiemsee by plane and car:
Munich airport (130 km), take the Autobahn A8 Munich – Salzburg, exit 106, Bernau/Chiemsee and follow the signs to Prien, Rimsting, Gstadt to Aiterbach.
By train: there are several train connections from Munich to Salzburg. Stop at Prien and take the local bus which stops directly in front of the hotel. (For more information, send an email and I will provide more details.)
Please note: tango lessons will start Wednesday afternoon at 15:00. Sunday, there will be no tango lessons anymore. Departure is possible after breakfast.
