In February 2012, this will be our fifth tango cruise from Buenos Aires to Chile!
By the way, during the past five years, we have made over 28 Tango cruises in Europe and South America. They have been proven to be both successful and enjoyable. Tango at sea, a wonderful and unforgettable ango experience!

Our starting point for this marvelous journey begins in Buenos Aires. You can book the pre package in Buenos Aires: together we can attend Milongas held nightly in this cosmopolitan city. In addition to being considered the “birthplace of the Tango”, Buenos Aires is rich in charm and culture. Enjoy a city walk through the picturesque section of San Telmo, La Boca or shop in the trendy cosmopolitan Palermo Viejo area. We will spend three nights in a comfortable four-star hotel in the centre of Buenos Aires, Feb 23th – Feb 26th , and then we will check-in onboard the luxurious cruise ship “Infinity”: our home away from home! We will stay one more day + night in Buenos Aires and we will enjoy our cruise ship and relax onboard! Monday evening, February 27th, we will head north to Montevideo and Punta del Este with its beautiful beaches. Our cruise adventure begins …
The highlight will be no doubt cruising around the legendary Cape Horn, the southernmost point of the continent. We will witness the amazing sight of numerous penguin colonies near Puerto Madryn and the Chilean Fjords with its jagged walls and mammoth glaciers known as some of the most magnificent fjords in the world – truly an unforgettable travel experience!
In ports of Puerto Montt in Chile, Ushuaia and the Tierra del Fuego Nationalpark, where mountain and sea come together, our aim is to explore Patagonia - one of the most unique places on earth.
There will be ample time to relax and enjoy the ambience of the ship with its many amenities.
TANGO: there will be the opportunity on board to build on your Tango skills by attending the tango classes in small groups with Adriana Duré and Felipe Martinez. Of course, Practicas and nightly Milongas compliment this extraordinary cruise. Private lessons can also be arranged.

Cruise ship:
The “Infinity” is one of the most modern cruise ships of Celebrity Cruises. As a member of the “Millennium Class”, it is considered to be one of the most exquisite and elegant 5-star cruise ship from the Celebrity Cruises.
There are numerous bars with live music, cozy cafes, a two story theater, discotheque and a casino. Its special ambience, along with its world class cuisine by master chef Michel Roux, will provide you each evening with his sumptuous dining delight. Enjoy a 5-course menu served nightly in the elegant two-level restaurant, and visit the buffet restaurant with its large terrace overlooking the ocean during all hours of the day to satisfy your appetite.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the 25,000 ft2 AQUA SPA. Indulge yourself in one of the tranquility treatments, or shed those extra calories in the fitness center.
The "Infinity" has two round dance floors which we will use for our Tango lessons, Practicas and Milongas, depending of availability. The Milongas will be held before or after Dinner.
Modern comfortable cabins are equipped with air conditioning, television, safe, mini bar, shower and bathrobe. We have inner, outer and balcony cabins remaining. Suites are available upon request.
Early reservation is recommended for outside cabins in order to take the magnificent views of the mainland as we circle the southernmost point of South America.

travel to/from South America:
The cruise will start from Buenos Aires and will end in Valparaiso, therefore return flights should be made with this in mind. The international airport for the return flight is Santiago de Chile.
If desired, a group transfer from Valparaiso to Santiago de Chile can be arranged. (about 90 minutes drive, flight should not be earlier than 13:30).
For those who will be travelling to and from Europe a possibility to travel as a group from Paris with Air France can be offered: flight dates 22.2.-11./12.3.2012. Arrival in Buenos Aires will be 23.2. in the morning. Departure in Santiago de Chile will be 11.3. in the afternoon and arrival in Europe will be the next day. Please send an email and we will check the availability and price.
Pre package in Buenos Aires: three overnight stays, breakfast included in a confortable four-star hotel in the centre of Buenos Aires, Transfers from the hotel to the cruise ship: upsell 250,-€ per person.

Registration must be made in writing for double occupancy staterooms.
(Single registrations are possible and upon request).
A minimum of 25 persons is required for the tango cruise. (already confirmed).
For those guests who do not wish to participate in the tango program/tango lessons there are limited spaces which require a separate offer. As with all registrations, contractual agreements will be in place and will adhere to the Royal Caribbean/Celebrity Cruise Line conditions.
Participation in that tango program is only possible if booking is made through Bailando Reisen.
