"Tango special":
If two couples book together two cabins: reduction of 50,-€ per person.

Booking after 1st July, 2010 will result in a 200,-€ increase per person.

if you wish to pay in US Dollars - Dollar to the Euro rate fluctuates on a daily basis. (starting from 1590,- USD per person/Inside stateroom – ask for actual offer and actual rate)

The Tango lesson package on our cruise consists of 9 hours of classes featuring either:
Section A ----- “Tango de Salon” (Close Embrace) or:
Section B ------- “Girar y Nada Mas” (Tango Turns).
Courses will take place mornings or late afternoons. 
When desired additional Tango lessons can be booked as follows:   3 x 1.5 hours,
Minimum participants - 6 couples per course, Price: 80 Euros per person.
This additional course (C, D, E) combined with the basic package of either A or B will result in an interesting, intensive tango week with Melina and Detlef.

Section A:Tango de Salón - Walking in an embrace 
The elegant and expressive Caminar is the heart of Tango and there are uncountable possibilities to vary that Tango-walk. In this class, we‘ll focus on the harmony within the couple and with the music. We‘ll examine all the intricacies and variations, that make Tango such a special and challenging dance.
Requirements: None. But please mark, that is not a mere beginners-class, as we‘ll be adapting the content to each couples level. Even very adavanced dancers will discover lots of interesting new material.
Section B: Girar y nada mas - Turns for the Salon
We conceive turns as a combination of steps and pivots, which is much more than just dancing the Molinete (grapevine) automatically. We want to enable you to improvise turns freely and to decide each moment anew, how and in which direction to proceed. In the course of the class, we‘ll also show some elegant, rhythmic or extravagant turns.
Requirements: Maintain axis, able to communicate basic elements, such as steps in all directions, parallel/crossed system.
Additional course C: Tango - the music
The music makes us move. She does not only transmit a certain rhythm and velocity, but also emotion and expression. Each Tango is a masterpiece, which may be interpreted in a unique kind of way. We do not teach different steps to different orchestras -  we examine the dimensions of music and dance. In the course of the class, we‘ll also show a few nice movements that will be adapted to the requirements of different musical styles. 
Requirements: Maintain axis, able to communicate all basic elements, such as steps in all directions, pivots, parallel/crossed system, centers of rotation.
Additional course D: Vals - Rhythm & Variation
Exploring the rhythmical variations in Vals and integrating them in variations of the walk and several known movements. This may sound simple, but is it not: there are certain rhythmical variations which are forgotton most of the time and dancing them requires the proficiency to really lead and follow in order to „time“ your movements.
Requirements: Maintain axis, able to communicate all basic elements, such as steps in all directions, pivots, parallel/crossed system, centers of rotation.
Additional course E: Milonga lisa y con Traspié
We do conceive Milonga as a dance very much on its own, requiring and facilitating specific body mechanics and small-scale dynamics. You don’t need complex steps to improvise the music adequately - the connection to the music is what makes a good Milonga! We’ll explore rhythmic variations of walking, the Traspíes and combine the basic elements to small and playfull steps which allow you to interpret the music freely. 
Requirements: None. But please mark, that is not a mere beginners-class, as we‘ll be adapting the content to each couples level. Even very advanced dancers will discover lots of interesting new material. 


Cruise ship:
“The Splendour of the Seas” is a beautiful and comfortable cruise ship from Royal Caribbean Cruise Line: It features 2 different restaurants, fitness and wellness area, several bars and nightclub, casino, theatre, minigolf court and rock climbing wall. There are two dance floors, one with a spectacular ocean view. Some Milongas will be after dinner on the main dance floor, some will take place as "sunset Milongas" before dinner, depending on availability of the dance floors.

Information:
A minimum of 25 persons is required for the Tango cruise and is already confirmed. As with all registrations, contractual agreements will be in place and will adhere to the Royal Caribbean Celebrity Cruise Line conditions.
For those guests who do not wish to participate in the Tango program / Tango lessons there are limited spaces which require a separate offer.
Participation in all Tango events is only possible, when booking through Bailando Reisen.
